Rock climbers? I hope so.

Hike finally decided to climb over his gate. He's been climbing in and out of the crib, and the pack n' play for months. I loved that he never realized he could climb his gate too. Now I'll have to start waking up early so I can have my "before I let them out of their room" time. :)

Jackson isn't far behind with the climbing either. I wish I had some pictures, but it's actually been some stressful situations for him. First I found him stuck on the chair. He had climbed up on the railing underneath and was holding onto the booster seat. Next he had climbed over half way up the gate and was screaming bloody murder, holding on to dear life. It was actually pretty funny with his toes sticking through the holes. But I could tell he was highly distressed. Had he let go he would have fallen right on his back. He did that twice trying to follow me when I went downstairs. This morning he grabbed onto the desk and had stepped up on a small ledge. He is definitely getting good at going up... we'll see when he learns to come back down. ;)

I'm crossing my fingers that they'll keep up this adventure/climbing streak and come rock climbing with me when they're a little older. (Since the hub isn't so much into that... I have withdrawals some days.)

Otherwise... it's been such a wonderful week. I've been super organizing and cleaning things out. It's still in  that super messy stage before the magical transformation, but I'm starting to see the light. I haven't really had a lot to do this week, and it's so nice to feel like I can finally breathe... for the first time this summer. I didn't realize how much I LOVE not having deadlines and urgent things that have to be finished up. (Too bad I know this won't last).

I've kind of had a little school envy with everyone starting school again. Not that I want my boys to be old enough for that, but I kind of miss going to school. Especially with a friend of mine going back to college, another one starting college... I loved college. What a great environment! :)

The hub starts school this week! It will be a packed semester with 3 classes, but then he'll be FINISHED!!!! Come December: Master's degree complete!! Woot woot! We're so excited! :) Congrats babe! I know you'll finish strong! You've done such a fantastic job!! :)

Ending the week with a cool rainy weekend, I couldn't be happier. I LOVE this cool fall-ish weather!
