Miracles DO Happen

First I have to say that I dreamt that it was going to be 104 degrees this Friday. I don't know if that would be a miracle, but it would be nice! :)

Anyway, here is my miracle story:

  It was a dark cloudy morning. My eyes were half open as I sat down at the table for breakfast with my two boys. Everything was going fine as we ate our cereal, that is until I heard this noise, "Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!" Then it was twice as fast! "Bang-Bang! Bang-Bang! Bang-Bang!" I looked up from my bowl to see two little boys banging their spoons on the table. "Oh dear" I thought to myself.
"Please don't bang your spoons on the table." I pleaded.
"Bang-Bang! Bang-Bang!" they continued with their spoons.
I reached up to place my hand on Hunter's shoulder to try and settle him down. It worked. The noise slowed as Jackson continued slowly to a stop. Silence. But just then Hunter started doing something... and WO! Next thing I knew he was falling sideways off his chair and was on the floor. I chuckled as I got up and helped him back on his seat and scooted him in to finish his cereal. As I went back to my own chair I noticed something fall from the ceiling and land on my chair. "What is that?!?" I wondered. I looked closer and saw it scurry down the leg of my chair. "AH! A SPIDER! YUCK!!... What do I do? What do I do? Where's Neil?!?!" My mind raced. I ran around to find something to squish it with. The empty cereal box. I grabbed it and wham! The spider was a goner.
 As I sat back down to finish my own cereal it hit me. Had I been in my chair that thing would have landed right on me! Blach! Thank goodness Hunter fell off his chair! Heart attack diverted... I don't think you could get more of a miracle than that.

After we had put the boys to bed one night, I was sitting at the computer and looked over to see these two little legs sticking out. I watched him for a while, and they just stayed there for the longest time... Until we just had him come sit with us. Cute boy. :) When we started talking to him he poked his little head around the corner with a sneaky little smile that said, "Dang it. They caught me."
